Conventional Rush is a game made in Unreal Engine under seven days for the Brackey's Game Jam 2024.2. In this game you have to set up a convention center before a big event. You'll need to try and raise the target amount of money while still keeping everyone happy.
Our team was busier than expected this week, so it's little more than a proof of concept than a fully fledge game but we still done a large amount of work putting it all together. I handled the UI design, programming, and animations along with handling the overall art direction of the game. I made use of various Unreal Engine tools such as Common Activatable Widgets and ensured that every screen is able to convey a clear and fun feeling navigating throughout them (examples including the seamless transitions from screen to screen)
