Draki’s Journey is the first game prototype made by Coffin Club, a team of 7 international developers who partnered to submit a joint project for Ludum Dare 54: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/54/. The game was developed in less than 72 hours, from 29.09.2023 to 02.10.2023, and made to fit the theme 'Limited Space'.
GAME SUMMARY
Play as chibi vampire Draki, who navigates a mansion full of harmful rays of light that seep through boarded windows. The goal is to collect Novelty Items from your mansion to place into your coffin before you lay yourself to rest every night. The amount of light seeping in grows as angry villagers outside remove boards, limiting Draki's space more and more as the game progresses. Each Novelty Item has a different narrative reward that Draki can dream about before ultimately going to sleep in their coffin forevermore!
For my role in the project I worked as one of the main UI Artists / Designers for the game on parts such as the HUD, Main Menu, Text Boxes, and more! I also worked on making the game trailer too!
