A space-based shoot-em-up with roguelike arcade style gameplay for the Game Off 2025 Jam

This project was made as a submission for the Game Off 2025 hosted by Github. Completed in under a month's time, I helped lead the game design and UI design alongside our team of 8 members! Working off of the theme of WAVES we worked together to create a fast-paced spaceship shoot-em-up arcade game where the goal is to destroy all oncoming enemy waves and make your way to the final boss.

For the design of the game I went with a stylized mechanical sci-fi look taking cues from games such as Armored Core, Radiant Silvergun, and Ikaruga. All the UI elements were created and programmed by me alongside helping with coding some gameplay mechanics such as the Upgrade System at the end of rounds.

At the end of the voting period, our game managed to place very high on the rankings with highlights being that we've reached #1 in Audio Design, #11 in Gameplay, #20 in Graphics, and an overall ranking of #13 out of 714 other entries!
